Your First Visit to Our Langford Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

When you arrive, our friendly front desk staff will make you feel right at home.  You’ll fill in your intake paperwork, and then go into one of the comfortable exam rooms for your spinal health assessment.  Dr. Vedova will go over your health and injury history with you, complete a thorough functional exam, and assess your spine.  The functional exam includes a plank and a squat, so be sure to wear comfortable clothes.  You’ll also receive your Spinal Health Assessment report containing your exam results at the end of the visit.

Your first visit is usually about an hour long.

The Chiropractic Adjustment

You’ll get your initial adjustment at your first visit. Dr. Vedova uses an instrument that is very gentle which adjusts the spine quickly, with very little impact on the spine: no twisting, torquing, or cracking.

Sensations You May Feel

Most patients are smiling at the end of their first visit and you’ll see why! However, after your first adjustment it’s possible you may have some stiffness or soreness or fatigue.
